AIforce: Salesforce Is Everywhere Now. Everything Is a Different Question.

Salesforce put its platform inside Claude, Slack, Gemini Enterprise and Amazon Quick. Reaching every surface is not the same as governing the work that runs across them. The News At Dreamforce on 15 September 2026, Salesforce introduced AIforce , which it calls “a live interface layer that brings the full power of Salesforce to wherever people and agents work.” According to the announcement, agents can “reason and take action across allÃ¥ the data, workflows, and logic inside Salesforce” from whichever surface the user happens to be in. AIforce is an umbrella over five elements. Claudeforce , announced on 26 August , puts Salesforce inside Claude through an MCP server with 37 sales skills, plus a development plug-in for Claude Code. Slackforce brings Slackbot, Slack CRM, Slack Code and Slackforce Surfaces together, the latter generating live dashboards and working views from a plain-language request; Salesforce says Surfaces are available on paid and Free plans with Slackbot ena...

Gartner Group: Lawmaker, Judge and Executioner?

Gartner rewrote the CRM rules this year. It was probably right to. Buyers still need to read the fine print. Gartner's 2026 Magic Quadrant for CRM Sales Platforms is likely the most consequential edition in years . But it isn't because of the vendor movements. It's because of the rule changes that caused these movements. Let me start with the part that deserves credit. Gartner correctly saw the market shift and acted. The report was renamed from Sales Force Automation Platforms to CRM Sales Platforms, and the substance moved with the name. The old report was defined around records: leads, accounts, opportunities, pipeline, quotes, partner portals. It is the right call. Anyone who has sat through a vendor demo in 2025 or 2026 knows the gap between "we have AI...

The Orchestration Layer in Enterprise AI Just Got Named. It Has a Gemini Logo on It.

What Google Cloud Next 2026 actually told us about the titan pecking order Google Cloud Next 2026 wrapped last week. The official version of the story is the one Google wanted you to read: 260 announcements, 1,302 customer use cases, the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, eighth-generation TPUs, a $750 million partner fund, an $240 billion Marketplace backlog. Big numbers. On-message keynote. Tidy "agentic era" framing. The more interesting story is who showed up to validate it, and what Google actually built underneath. Five of the seven enterprise titans I track walked into Las Vegas and announced expanded partnerships that all rest on the same architecture: Gemini Enterprise as the agent control plane, with the titan's product playing the role of premium ingredient. Salesforce . SAP . ServiceNow . Oracle . Adobe . Add Workday and Palantir Technologies to the picture, both adjacent to my titan list but visibly aligned in the same direction. Two titans were no...
